Pokemon Go hacks are arguably a bit of a nasty way to play the game. But, now that we’re under quarantine (thanks, Corona virus), there’s not a whole lot that we can do about it. You can either play with hacks or wait until the pandemic is over.
So, with that out of the way, let us get right into it!
Disclaimer
Hacking/cheating in Pokemon Go is a bannable offense. You’ve been warned. Whether you’ll get caught or not depends on a lot of factors. But, it’s a bit of a risk no matter what.
By moving forward, you agree that you are taking this risk at your own responsibility. WTLS won’t be held responsible for bans or anything else that may occur while you’re trying to cheat.
Keep in mind that just because you didn’t get banned right away, that doesn’t mean that you’re not going to receive one later. The only thing we can recommend is to try and look legit.
For example, if you suddenly teleport 1000 miles away, then that’s a massive giveaway that you’re using something that sets a fake location. You get the point.
1: Spoof your location and Move With a Joystick
One of the easiest and safest Pokemon Go hacks or cheats is GPS spoofing. The concept is pretty simple. As we all know, Pokemon Go uses your GPS location to see where you are – but the thing is that you can spoof that location rather easily.
Not only you can spoof your location – but you can also make it look like you’re physically moving around while sitting at the comfort of your own house and actually using a joystick- to move your character.
Typically, any GPS spoofer/Fake GPS location app will get the job done here. But, ideally, you want something that also offers a joystick which will allow you to move around your character in Pokemon Go. Something like Fake GPS Location on Android and Fake GPS Joystick on iOS.
Needless to say that you can also use a GPS spoofer to move the character in positions where very rare Pokemons spawn.
As we mentioned above, this can get you banned and it could be a permaban as well. There’s not much that you can do on your end to safely avoid this except maybe never cheating at all.
Alternatively, we’d recommend only making small adjustments at a time. If you teleport from one location to another that’s far away in a second then it’s obviously going to look very suspicious.
In some cases, the game may outright detect the spoofer and prevent you from using it or give a warning/ban on the spot.
Now, we understand that moving with a joystick is counter-intuitive for Pokemon Go which is designed to be played on the move. But, there are times when you just can’t leave the house and that’s when such apps do become very useful indeed.
2: Pokemon Go Hacks: IV Calculators
Pokemons in this game have quite a lot of hidden stats that you normally can’t see until you actually catch them. One way to get past this barrier is by using an IV calculator.
IV calculators/checkers are apps that can reveal these stats to you and they can be quite useful. Just keep in mind that while this isn’t as much of a cheat as GPS spoofing, Pokemon Go doesn’t like us using 3rd party apps with it. So, if you’re caught even with an IV calculator, you may still get banned – regardless of what the developers of these apps are saying.
Keep in mind that calculators that rely on screenshots are generally safer than automatic ones that integrate with the game. Still, don’t forget that almost nothing is 100% safe.
As for which apps to get, Calcy IV is quite popular in the Play Store while Poke Genie is possibly your best bet for iOS.
3: Account Sharing
We’re normally not allowed to share your account with others for fairly obvious reasons. But, if you’re feeling brave, it’s a rather effective way to boost your stats and grow your Pokemon collection.
The concept is very simple. Just give your credentials to a friend and take turns playing. That’s it. We’d recommend staying relatively close while this happens and absolutely avoid running the game on both accounts simultaneously. That’s in order to minimize the risk of getting banned.
4: Using Bots
This is one of the trashiest cheats for Pokemon Go and pretty much any other game. It’s one of the most effective ones, which is why we picked it as one of the best Pokemon Go hacks – but still kind of trashy.
In case you don’t know, botting is basically just letting a dedicated bot do all the work for you. That includes walking around, battling, and automatically catching Pokemons for you.
It’s definitely not our idea of having fun. But, hey, if you want to do it, nobody is going to stop you. Except maybe the game itself since this is one of the cheats that are as “loud” as they get. Chances are that you’re putting yourself at a high risk of getting banned with such cheats.
This is a service that some programmers used to sell. But, nowadays, according to the developers themselves, bots have a 100% ban rate. So, good luck finding someone who is willing to sell one. And when you do, be prepared for a ban.
Best Pokemon Go Hacks: Wrapping Up
There are a few more Pokemon Go cheats to choose from. But, we’d say that these are the most popular and definitely some of the most useful. Again, don’t forget that by cheating, you’re putting yourself at a high risk of getting banned. And that’s especially true for botting as it’s very tough to hide it.
That’s all for now. If there’s anything else that you want to suggest or if you want to ask anything, feel free to drop a comment.
