Kodi Covenant not working for you anymore and has got you all gloomy every time you turn on the Kodi media player? Here’s everything you need to know about why Covenant Kodi add-on is no longer operational, and the best alternatives for it.
Ever since the internet became not just a commercial, but domestically viable solution for communication in the United States and all across the world, we’ve been pushing the limits to what it is capable of. A long way from dial-up internet connections, the modern networking infrastructure has allowed all forms of industries to cater clients globally. The entertainment space has been transformed forever with the inclusion of streaming platforms, and the Kodi media player from XBMC Foundation has been a frontrunner in the cord-cutting movement.
The essence of what makes Kodi media player wildly popular among the general populous is the numerous add-ons that it harbors. Whether you wish to add traditionally free streaming services such as YouTube, Dailymotion, and Metacafe to your streaming center, or premium options like Netflix and Hulu to the mix, Kodi add-ons can help you get there. Apart from the officially supported Kodi add-ons, there are plenty of offerings developed by the community members, and one such add-on that has been a people-pleaser for years is Covenant.
Rest in Peace Covenant for Kodi
Ever since the raging popularity of entertainment-centric Kodi add-ons skyrocketed across the world, so did the supply of premium-grade add-ons such as Covenant. Created by a veteran developer in the XBMC community called Lambda, Covenant add-on for Kodi was released as a successor to yet another famous add-on called Exodus. Over the years, Covenant has been the host to a vast library of content, which includes movies, TV shows, documentaries, sports channels, and so much more.
While we aren’t here to school you on the moral dilemma that comes with consuming copyright content, it is important to highlight that the add-on received backlash. If you try to follow any of the old user guides out there to install this Kodi add-on, you will notice Kodi Covenant not working anymore. Whether it is the unavailability of new content or the issue of broken links pertaining to the existing content, it is recommended that you avoid using the Covenant add-on for Kodi.

Always use Kodi with ExpressVPN for Covenant
The copyright protection agencies not only come after the sources of free content such as the Covenant add-on but also the people who use it. In its traditional form, your home or office internet connection is like an open book for your ISP (Internet Service Provider) and federal authorities to look into, and even penalize you in certain cases for unauthorized usage. This is where the blanketed protection of a VPN service such as ExpressVPN comes into play, allowing you to unlock the true potential of Kodi and its add-ons when Kodi Covenant not working issue arises.
Bypassing Geo-restrictions – If you reside in the USA, Canada, the UK, and other regions where there the authorities have restricted access to Kodi add-ons, you won’t be able to use the service through Kodi either. Whether the features of the add-on are censored in your country or the service is entirely broken, ExpressVPN allows you to access hundreds of remote servers globally.
Avoid ISP Logging – Even if the add-on is not entirely banned in your region, the ISP (internet service provider) can still keep a track of your usage. The activity performed using Kodi media player can be easily logged, which holds a privacy threat, along with the issue of your ISP fining you for unwarranted usage. With ExpressVPN and its industrial-grade encryption to safeguard your online activity, rest assured that your browsing experience is secure.
