I Got Lighptttttp for My Own 37Cymbals #

by why in cult

Geoffrey: I’m having problems with deploding capastrami.

So, I ask you. Does The Rails Blob rank up against the real deal? Like: the DHH girl is here or the RUBY guy who says RUBY is not affiliated with Ruby. (Also, living in Colorado has demonstrated his basic non-running nature.)

There is a secret power to this. All of the misspelled search engine keywords will end up at his “Blob”.

said on 08 Aug 2006 at 18:48

Yes, that sounds good. I’d like to see an alternate Rails universe where everything is mispelled and the software only functions to the degree at which it is spelled correctly.

For example, capastrami is, by definition, flawless.

Or, just anagramize everything!

Camping = ...
Mac Ping (for Mac geeks)
Can GIMP (for *nix geeks)
Camp Gin (if you have no clue)

Hpricot = Rich pot

Real blob. Respect.

Maybe some of us who will be at RubyConf should form a spying party to go see if RUBY ROUC exists (baffling abbreviation strategy and all).

Contrivances just can’t stack up to real Engrish. However, I did find some parts of the “blob” to be pretty funny. I even created a little comic (ELER-style) based on one such phrase (here).

His post are hilarious.

“Rails – the Rubby language W.W.W. framewok”—David must have some Asian in him, at least :).

Boris: I say let’s start using cockney-style rhyming slang. Apples and Snails = Rails.

(But what rhymes with Ruby?)

said on 09 Aug 2006 at 09:32

Ruby rhymes with boobie! And his “blob” is more annoying that funny.

Ad hominem!

Ruby is the new liberalism apparently.

Real lady. Respect.

I have a feeling this dark and treacherous road was pioneered by why, but now the whole thing seems to be spiraling out of control. I’m starting to foresee a future where all discourse concerning Ruby is in the form of indecipherable nonsense. When that day comes, it will test all of our fundamental non-running natures.

Wow, all these poor souls have gone nuts. O.o And I thought that it couldn’t get more worse than “Everyone is Here in the Future”.

floyd: Ok, that’s just creepy. Do you play SL?

It’s like “I Can Believe It’s Not _why!”

Three ideas from this weblob:

1. Some mention of “implementing DHTScript with J-YSON”

2. A review of the “scrump.tio.us socialogical bookletmarking site”

3. Explanation of some new trends, like “Wiki clouds”, “ORM based taggging” or maybe “Modal View-Contatas”

Greet to see that my blob is getting oot their in the Rubby communisty. Me and my friend Clegg has our own Rubysh Coders group to fight the Javacs. I is glad to be on the same side as whY_is_he_so_stiff.

My mother, who is a native English speaker, just did a great Engrish immitation (by accident) last night. We had some biscuits let over from a resturant and she wrote a note on them which was intended to mean “anyone who wants them may eat these biscuits”—but what she actually wrote was “anyone can eat biscuits”...heh, awsome.

FlashHater: I do not understand your question. I assume SL is second life? No I do not, but I will if you give me an island.
