Ruby Quiz Anthology on Its Way!
Triumphant! James Edward Gray II has played host to fifty ruby quizzes over the last year and the Prags are putting ‘em out in print, due in Feb 2006. My favorite angle on this is that most of the actual code in the book is written by a pile of contributors who’ve answered the quizzes (having paid obeisance to the 48 hour moratorium,) resulting in a very prismatic summary, a real kingly banquet with red satin carpets and the ghost of Tim Toady.
Anyway, a champion’s cheer to James and everyone who keeps Ruby-Talk running. It’s great to have a mailing list that is so friendly, so full of great ongoing conversations, which are actually productive and fruitful, to the degree that volumes will sell which merely relay the proceedings.
